The week of November 14-18 has been proclaimed by Governor Hassan as ELO week in the state, which provides a great opportunity for schools throughout the state to share their successes.
The proclamation states that “Students, schools and businesses must remain aware of the enduring importance of building relationships and collaboration in and outside the classroom,” and points out that “New Hampshire has been a leader in building and maintaining an educated workforce with college and career ready skills.”
It’s a busy week on related fronts too. Nov 14-18 is also National Apprenticeship Week and National Career Development Week. The Vermont/New Hampshire Career Development Association will be offering a series of Career Development Focused Conversation Cafés throughout the year with the first discussion, very informal, happening this week also!
