Regional Resource Lists
Transition Communities of Practice (COPs) and other groups around New Hampshire are developing lists of organizations and services for transition-aged youth, and their families, in their geographic area. The lists focus on frequently used, youth-transition-relevant organizations and services, both local and state, suggested by members of each group.
Links to state and national resources are limited to specific resources that are available only through that organization (e.g., Northeast Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Concord), or collections of resources.
Lists available:
- Greater Seacoast area (Google Doc)
- Central and Southern New Hampshire Parent Information and Resource Packet (PDF, 38 pages, 2013) compiled by occupational therapy students from the University of New Hampshire, in collaboration with families in local special education systems as well as area school districts, faculty, and staff.
- Monadnock Region Resource Book (MSWord, 28 pages, 2015). Put together by a consortium: NH Employment Security, DHHS-DCYF, NH Vocational Rehabilitation, WIA-Southwestern Community Services, NH Employment Program, Keene School District. WIA volunteers gathered and assembled the information.
