Create Alternatives for Academic Credit Inside and Outside School
A two-day workshop for teams of school personnel. Both days include team time for exploration and planning.
After completing Day 1, participants will be able to:
- Describe high quality ELOs
- Describe the role of students, families, educators and community partners in developing and implementing ELOs
After completing Day 2, participants will be able to:
- Describe the critical components of a successful ELO program
- Develop strategies to develop an infrastructure to support ELOs in your school
- Examine policies and practices that support ELOs in your school
