Really Short Cohort 4 School Updates: November 2017

We’re in the second year working with our Cohort 4 schools in New Hampshire.  All schools are working on transition planning and ELOs, and two are also implementing RENEW. The updates are meant to show the range of project activities – not comprehensive reports – some of the schools are engaged in similar activities.

 Cohort 4

Cohort 4 schools joined the project in June 2016 and will complete their work with us on June 30, 2018.

Exeter: Staff participated in transition planning training and follow-up coaching. To facilitate increased ELO engagement with students-at-risk and students with disabilities, the Leadership Team decided to use part of their mini-grant to hire a part-time ELO Coordinator for the year. May offer a RENEW ELO this year.

Mascenic Regional: Leadership Team wants to focus energy on family engagement and community connections. Parent representation on the Leadership Team is strong and active. Special Education page for their district website is done and waiting to made active.

Raymond: Wants to focus in on the family engagement work in their action plan. They have lots of ideas and plans and are working on how to staff them. Family Engagement team presented a final draft of a transition information packet for parents.

Souhegan: The Leadership Team is stable and active and are talking about how to stay connected to families after the grant ends next June. They are working on making the school website more family-friendly and also planning another transition evening event this year.
