What are you doing after high school? Come to a transition fair or conference and get some ideas!

Regional Transition Fair

There will be a Regional Transition Fair on Tuesday, April 10 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at the Bektash Shriner Center in Concord, NH. It’s hosted by the Capital Area Transition Community of Practice, is open to all, and is free. Transition Fair flyer

A transition fair is an informational even for individuals with disabilities and their families to assist in making a successful transition to adult life and independence.

You’ll be able to:

  • Visit tables and displays from community agencies and others
  • Hear quick talks by Vocational Rehabilitation, Project Search, Granite State Independent Living, Job Corps, NAMI, Next Steps NH and more!
  • Win door prizes!
  • Eat and drink free food and beverages provided courtesy of KRHS culinary arts department, Parent Information Center/Next Steps NH, McDonald’s, CRTC culinary arts department, Constantly Pizza, and Myrna Vashaw of CHS.

The regional transition fair is also sponsored by Next Steps NH and the Parent Information Center. Register by March 31, 2018 and get an extra raffle ticket! Online registration form

Transition Mini-Conference 2018

Transition Mini-Conference will be held Saturday, March 24 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Exeter High School. Exeter, Epping and Newmarket high schools are collaborating to bring this event to the community.  Attendees will learn about transition services and accommodations that are available in the community. Open to all!
