2023 NH COP Education Series

The NH Transition State Community of Practice (NH COP) is offering a robust lineup of timely topics for the 2023 Education Series.

The hourlong Zoom sessions are offered on the 1st Thursday of the month, 9 – 10 am, as part of the regular NH Transition Community of Practice meeting. You are welcome to stay for the second hour, 10 – 11 am, which is the regular meeting with lots of good resource sharing.

January 5 – Exit Planning for Transition Age Youth with Mindy Huckins from Gateways Community Services and Dan Alexander from Nashua School District. Join Mindy and Dan as they discuss best practices for incorporating school exit options in person-centered planning. Recording and resources will be posted after the session. June 1 – Supporting Diversity in Person-Centered Planning: A Fcous on Gender Diversity and Neurodiversity with Becky Parton from the Dartmouth Trauma Interventions Research Center. Build awareness of co-occurrence with gender diversity, learn more ways to promote inclusive and affirming practices.
